New and returning students were welcomed to Banbury and Bicester College’s first freshers’ fair of the autumn term.
The event took place at the Bicester campus yesterday (21 September), giving students an opportunity to meet local organisations and find out about college services and support.
Exhibitors included: Bicester Leisure Centre, the Student Union, NUS card sales, Young Farmers Association, sports teams and representatives, college counselling services, Solution for Health, college careers advice team and study support.
Leanne Hobbs, Student Support Team Leader for Banbury and Bicester College said: “The Freshers’ Fair is a chance for students to be welcomed to the college and to the community. The Fair is important, even for returning students. It’s a relaxed environment for students to see all the services that the college offer in one place.”
The next Freshers’ Fair will take place at the Banbury campus on Wednesday 23 September, with even more exhibitors including: Spiceball Leisure Centre and Thames Valley Police.
