Representatives from Co-Operative Childcare visited City of Oxford College this month, (8 March), to deliver an employability day to health and social care students.
Ambassadors from the organisation offered sessions in areas such as CV preparation and safeguarding. The students were also given the opportunity to fill out an application form to study and work with Co-Operative Childcare.
This experience was a great opportunity for the students to get their careers off to a good start once they have finished their course. The information they learnt from the day is also transferable to their course content. Learning this information from an external visitor is a great way to inspire new questions and thoughts regarding the course.
