On Saturday 6 February, City of Oxford College will open its campuses to potential students giving them the chance to discover what’s on offer at Oxfordshire’s ‘Best Education Provider’.
The City of Oxford College’s Oxpens Road and Blackbird Leys campuses will open to visitors from 9:30am-12:30pm.
Aimed at current Year 10 and 11 students and their parents, the event will showcase the options available to pupils after they have completed their GCSEs. There are also opportunities for mature students who wish to return to study, as well as those who may have started out on another route this year and would like to change track.
The Oxpens Road campus offers vocational learning programmes in art and design, business, care, childcare and health, computing and ICT, hair and beauty, hospitality and catering, media, engineering, performing arts, sport and sports science, travel and tourism and public services.
The Blackbird Leys campus provides programmes in construction and building services, motor vehicle studies and engineering from September 2016. It will also be the home to the forthcoming Oxfordshire Centre for Technology, Innovation and Skills, a state of the art STEM centre opening in September 2016.
