Welcome to our ESOL, Literacy and Numeracy provision which is part of the Skills for Life Department. We offer courses to improve the skills & qualifications you need to live, study, work and progress in the UK.

We offer the following:

ESOL

ESOL (English for Speakers of other Languages) are for people who live permanently in the UK and who need to improve their English. We offer part-time, full-time, a choice of times and days and flexibility of start dates. We also offer provision for both adults and 16 - 19 year olds as well as slow and fast track options.

You can study also study ESOL with another subject such as motor vehicle or hair and beauty.

Adult Literacy and Numeracy

These FREE courses are open to ALL adults of 16 years and above who wish to improve their skills in English and Maths.

There are no entry requirements for any of these classes and all levels are catered for, from Entry 1 to Level 2. Level 1 or 2 Literacy is equivalent to GCSE English; Level 1 or 2 Numeracy is equivalent to GCSE Maths.

You can join at any time. You may work at your own pace, to your own programme and leave when you achieve!
