This is a new role within the MIS directorate. You will work within the MIS team for half of your time, processing, inputting, chasing and amending enrolment information. The rest of your time will be spent with the exams team in our Blackbird Leys campus helping to coordinate and process awarding body registrations and entries and also to help oversee the assessment activities themselves. The ideal candidate will hold level two or equivalent qualifications.

The Examination Office at OCVC is an extremely busy office that must adhere to strict deadlines. The ideal candidate will therefore be highly organised, cope well under pressure and maintain their professionalism at all times. They will be computer literate to a high standard and have excellent organisation skills.

Previous experience in working in an Examinations office would be advantageous but consideration will be given to candidates who have proven experience working in a busy and pressured office.

You will be responsible for teaching and tutoring students studying at levels 1 to 3. You will be joining a small team of dedicated staff in an area with really exciting expansion plans for the next few years. You must be teacher trained and have experience of working in one of the Public Services.

We are seeking an experienced hairdresser to work with our established team of assessors. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, have a relevant industry experience, be qualified to Level 3 or equivalent and will have gained an assessor award. This post will be a balance of working in salons around Oxfordshire with level 2 & 3 students, but there will be an element of theory and practical delivery in college for both apprentices and full time students.

We are looking for a part time Technician for the Hair and Beauty area. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in the area, be organised and efficient as well as being able to work closely with tutors and students. The role involves general maintenance which includes working in the salons with students, maintaining health and safety in the salons, dispensing of stock and equipment, the laundering and replenishing of towels in the area and the general reception work.

The Motor Vehicle Unit is an expanding area and offers exciting teaching and assessing opportunities from entry to level three.

You will be qualified to level three and ideally hold a teaching qualification, assessors (A1 or D32/33) and internal verifiers (V1 or D34) qualifications. You must be enthusiastic and inspirational and able to train, assess and impart relevant knowledge to this important age range. Up to date knowledge of the area is essential.

We are looking to recruit an experienced Careers Advisor to work in the north of the county covering mainly the Banbury and Bicester areas including the surrounding villages. The post is predominantly community based working with Job clubs and community groups to support people back into work or training. Careers and guidance support is delivered in a one to one setting but you will also be required to deliver group sessions when required.
