Accommodation
What kind of accommodation is available?
The college offers homestay in Oxford, Banbury and Bicester. This is where students stay with hosts in the town. There are a variety of people who offer homestay to students. They might be; a family with children, a couple or a single person.
They might be young or old and some take several students, some take just one.
They usually live about a 15-30 minute bus ride from the college.
You can choose either;
- Bed, breakfast and evening meal
- Self-catering (cooking all your own food)
If you choose to have bed, breakfast and dinner, your homestay host will eat most of the evening meals with you. Often students who choose self-catering will spend less time with their hosts.
If you prefer a certain kind of host e.g. a family or an older couple, you can write this on the form and the Accommodation Adviser will try to match you with someone suitable.
All of the homestay hosts have been checked by the Accommodation Adviser.
The Accommodation Adviser will be available throughout your stay to answer any questions and to talk to you if there are any problems.
