From working in the City to specialising in human resources, marketing, law or finance, Oxford and Cherwell Valley College is here to equip you with the right skills to pursue your chosen career.We have lecturers who are proficient in all areas of business, finance and law who will teach you how each sector operates so you are prepared for the next step in your career or progression to university.

Both full-time and part-time courses are available at our Oxford and Banbury campuses to allow you some flexibility as you pursue your chosen career.

With a well-established team in place who are sympathetic to all your basic educational needs, we also have a range of specialist subjects delivered by visiting tutors to widen the scope of your learning.

All of our tutors are passionate about their subjects - a point which is endorsed by our current students who give top marks to the tutorial support they receive !

OCVC has developed strong links with employers to enable our students to strengthen their knowledge with first-hand industry experience. Some students opt to take employment placements to help them to develop a better understanding as they learn. Many of our graduates are now established in their chosen fields in a broad range of jobs including posts as legal secretaries, solicitors and accountants.

Our tailored information technology and computer courses are primed to develop the skills that you need to meet the fast-paced world of computing and global communications. We support our students on a path of clear and continuous progression, which meets the criteria for a widened field of employment and allows you to expand your horizons.

In recent years, OCVC has invested heavily in computer equipment to give all students access to personal computers, the internet and Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).

We are also a Regional Cisco Academy offering CCNA, IT Essential I and II.

We believe that the preparation of our students for future employment is best served by the development of strong links with employers and so we help students find work placement and offer bespoke training courses, which can be delivered at employer premises or on campus.
