Start your career in Travel & Tourism with us. We offer full time and part-time courses at both our Oxford and Banbury campuses. Our team of professional staff are skilled at supporting students to reach their full potential, and we have a good track record of progression onto higher courses and into universities. Your Lecturers have all worked in the Travel & Tourism Industry. They have 1st hand experience. They know the industry they are teaching you about.

You will learn in our well equipped, specialist facilities. Your tutors are passionate about their subject and our students speak highly of the tutorial support they receive during their time at OCVC. The area maintains a high profile within South-east England and has been recognised as a Centre of Vocational Excellence (CoVE).

Tourism students also participate in many educational visits to tourist attractions integrated into the curriculum delivery, including residential trips overseas.

As part of our detailed interview and selection process and to assist you to make the correct decision about your future, we offer taster days for all new students. You will be made to feel very welcome.

Career Opportunities

You could work in conference and events management, as a travel agent – selling holidays, as a resort representative – you might have seen some of these on TV! As a foreign exchange cashier or you may go on to become Air Cabin Crew – and travel the world. You could be a receptionist at a tourist attraction or working at an airport in one of the many jobs offered there. You might work in a hotel or on a cruise ship.
