Oxford & Cherwell Valley College (OCVC) is very pleased with the results achieved by A-level students.
Our 2012 performance was even better than previous year, with 99.6% of A-level programme students passing all of their A2 exams. 76% of our students have achieved A* to C grades, up 6% on last year. 47% have achieved A* to B, up 7% on last year.
OCVC has A-level centres in both Banbury and Oxford for the dedicated use of A-level students.
You will find all the facilities you need within one location and you will be taught by specialist A-level teachers. OCVC offers a wide range of subjects and our tutors will help you to decide which combination of subjects will be best for you and your future success.

Applicants for A-levels – notes on entry requirements:
- Applicants will normally have at least 6 GCSEs at grade C or above (including
English language and, for some subjects, maths)
- In order to study some subjects at A-level, higher GCSE grades may be required.
This will include a minimum expectation of a grade B in maths and double science
for students wishing to study A-level maths, psychology or any science subject
- Applicants will be prepared to study for an additional Level 2 qualification in maths
(if the GCSE grade held is below grade C)

GCSEs – full-time programme
This full-time GCSE programme is for 16-19 year-olds who have not achieved the required GCSEs at grade C or above to study on a Level 3 course.
It is an intensive one-year programme which includes GCSEs in double science, maths, English, psychology and media studies. Success allows entry to A-levels and extended diplomas.
