Oxfordshire School of Creative Arts

Oxfordshire School of Creative Arts is located on both the Oxford and Banbury campuses and has a strong tradition of excellence.  Both sites offer well-equipped, industry-standard gallery spaces and practical areas, including craft workshops in printmaking, woods, metals, textiles and ceramics, theatres, print design, dark rooms, photographic, TV and music studios and fine arts.  These are supported by specialist lecturing staff, practitioners and technicians.

Take a look at our Summer School, providing a range of activities for 8-13 year olds during the school summer holidays.

Develop talent in creative spaces

Our staff members are all practitioners who exhibit their work and maintain professional relationships with key contacts within their field of work. They will help you to develop your talents in our creative spaces.  The current mix includes scriptwriters, journalists, photographers, graphic artists, actors, dancers, film editors, fine artists, craft designers, print makers, dress/textile designers and sculptors.

Experience a variety of cultures

Regional, national and international trips form an integral part of the curriculum; recently these have included Venice, New York, Madrid, Florence, Paris and Berlin. Students find experiencing a variety of cultures enriches their work and enables a more informed, innovative portfolio to be realised.

Entry procedure

Competition for a full-time place at the Oxfordshire School of Creative Arts is always fierce because we attract some of the most talented young people in Oxfordshire to our College. We do have rigorous entry criteria, and all students will be interviewed and either auditioned, or asked to bring portfolios, so that we can determine which of our courses is appropriate for future career intentions.
