For students aged 16-18
If your household income is £30,000 or less and your journey to college is more than 3 miles walking distance, you may be eligible for financial support towards your travel costs. For most students this means that the college will arrange a termly travel pass on the most cost effective route for your journey.
Depending on household income you may have to make a contribution each term - details can be found on the table below

We work with the relevant local authority to provide travel subsidies to our 16-18 students.
For students aged 19+
Financial support for travel costs and other essential course costs is available where household income is £20,817 or less. Further information and the application form can be downloaded from the right–hand side of this page.
