Learning for leisure

A learning for leisure course is a great way to develop your interests and talents in a stimulating environment, meeting new people and sharing experiences.  When you study with OCVC, you'll be joining a lively community of learners and staff alike.

New courses suggested by you

A recent online poll helped us identify leisure courses that you would like to take.  You told us and we listened!  This year we'll be offering new subjects shaped by your comments.  From Art to Pilates to Jewellery, we're sure you'll spot something to tempt you.

Here are some ideas:

  • Throw, glaze and fire your own pottery and sculpture in our dedicated ceramics studios and on-site kilns.
  • Rejuvinate your treasured pieces of furniture for yourself and future generations.
  • Create and craft rings and necklaces to your own bespoke designs with the resources of our fantastic jewellery workshops at your disposal.
  • Learn how to cook, expand your recipe repetoire or perfect your patisserie.

Lower fees

Learning for fun has become more affordable. We've dramatically lowered our leisure course fees. Our leisure courses pack more pleasure per pound.

State-of-the-art facilities

Our students learn in real-life environments with professional equipment fit for the purpose, taught by dynamic, expert staff.  We have purpose-built facilities including industry standard workshops, studios, labs, salons and kitchens.  We think you'll love our new arts centre in Banbury opening in Autumn 2011.

Convenient locations

With four campuses across Oxfordshire, you can learn locally with OCVC.

All of our campuses are easy to find and well-placed, a short distance from car parks, railway and bus stations.  As you'd expect, we have designated disabled parking spaces next to the college buildings.

Enjoy the buzz

Why not combine a course with a visit to our cafes, restaurants, beauty and hairdressing salons?  Offering great quality and value-for-money, enjoy a delicious meal or a pampering session at OCVC.
